Substitutions & Variations
- Feel free to go with any Oreo variations you like. The classic Oreos always work best but I have tried it with Green Mint Oreos and they work just as fine.
- While I prefer full-fat milk for maximum flavor, feel free to opt for 2% milk, fat-free milk, or even coconut milk for this shake. Keep in mind that the taste might vary slightly. Alternatively, you can use unsweetened almond milk or half and half as well.
- If you're out of frozen bananas, simply use regular bananas at room temperature and add ½ to ¾ cup of ice cubes to the blender along with other ingredients.
- For an extra flavor kick, feel free to add 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter to the blender if you enjoy its taste.
- Chocolate lovers may add chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla.
- You can also opt for dairy-free ice cream or frozen yogurt as substitutes.
